Summary of the course recommendations

On the one hand a course with more sessions more than a 2-day course) could bring more content and outcome, on the other hand most volunteers and workers are very busy people and they don’t have the time for longer courses – so we need to focus on short compressed training events to reach the needed group of participants.

Blending diverse cultural volunteers and public culture workers were good, and necessary in such a small community to get enough participants and useful discussion and group work.

Overall, it is important to plan such courses with the needs of the target group in mind, not least their busy schedule and adjust the programme to the needs of the specific community so that it will be most useful in practice.
